Returns & Refunds Policy
At Bronto’s Doodles, everything is created or printed just for you, whether it’s handmade in-house or produced through our trusted print-on-demand partners.
Because of this, our policies follow UK consumer regulations while reflecting the nature of made-to-order products.
Made-to-Order & POD Items
Most of our items (handmade cards, wedding stationery, and POD printed products) are made to order.
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, made-to-order and personalised items are not eligible for returns unless they arrive faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
Personalised Items
Personalised items cannot be returned, cancelled, or refunded once production has begun.
However, you are entitled to a replacement or refund if:
- the product arrives damaged,
- there is a printing or production fault,
- the item does not match the personalisation details you submitted,
- or the wrong item was sent.
Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue.
Handmade Items
Handmade items are created with care, and small variations may occur — this is part of their uniqueness.
Handmade products are also considered made to order, so returns are only accepted if the item is:
- damaged in transit,
- faulty, or
- does not match the product description.
We will offer a replacement or refund depending on your preference.
Non-Personalised Items
If the item is not personalised and not made to order, you may return it within 14 days of receiving it, in its original unused condition.
Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Print-on-Demand Items (POD)
For POD products fulfilled via third-party printers:
- We cannot accept returns for wrong sizes, colours, or designs ordered by mistake.
- Refunds/replacements are offered only for production faults, printing errors, or damage in transit.
- Faulty POD items will be remade or refunded once evidence (photos) is provided.
This follows both UK consumer law and the policies of our printing partners.
Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of purchase.
After this, your order may already be in production (either handmade or POD), so cancellation may not be possible.
Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Please ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout.
Orders shipped to an incorrectly provided address cannot be refunded or replaced unless they return to us undelivered.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please email us within 14 days with:
- your order number
- photos of the issue
- a brief description
We’ll resolve it quickly with either a replacement or full refund.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
